my little brozito got his mission call to.......PERU! we are soooo excited! derek is the last of the moss grandchildren to go on a mission and aaron is the first of the aguilar grandchildren to go! he reports on november 16th.

orioles game and ty's birthday cake

here is danny with jeremy guthrie; a pitcher for the orioles. they know each other from their freshman year at byu. ty looks very impressed.

here we are enjoying the game. we went to the game on "mormon night" so we got cheap tickets and got to sit by all of our friends from church.

ty was not excited about the candle, the cake, or anything on his birthday. he did like it when my mom, dad, aaron, jamie, grace and raegan all sang to him over the phone. we are horrible parents b/c we didn't even get him a gift to open. i guess we are just in packing mode and figured we didn't need another toy lying around the house. he would have wanted to play with the wrapping paper more than the toy anyway. :)

just some recent pictures of the kiddos. ty will be one in a week and he is about ready to walk. aurora asks every day "are we going to utah, mom??!!" she seems pretty excited about it but i wonder what will happen when we leave and she doesn't get to see all her friends for a long time...

zennie posted a lot of pictures on her blog but i figured i should post some to the family blog also. what a fun trip!! we had a great time and we were able to do a lot of fun things.

Well, I don't usually like to share pic's of myself, but I think I found a pic I actually like. This was at the wedding we just went to Nebraska for in April. We had fun.............

aurora's party!!!

we had aurora's party last night. it was a princess party if you can't tell :) danny and i made a castle out of big cardboard boxes. i wish i had the time and and space to paint it b/c then it would have looked a little less white trash-y but the kids don't notice and could care less about how the castle looks, so it was ok. danny had the good idea to bring out a bunch of markers and stickers and let the kids decorate it themselves. they loved that!
i also made swords and shields out of the leftover cardboard which the boys adored. i think those were a bigger hit with the boys then the castle was. and the girls got to decorate crowns, and pick out rings and necklaces to wear.
danny bbqed hotdogs; and we had cupcakes and cookies. yum!! it was a little cool and windy but all and all i think it was a sucess!
the 3rd picture is aurora with her two friends, evelyn and grayson. they have been friends since birth and they are so cute together!

why is taking pictures so hard??

is it just my children or does everybody have a really hard time getting both kids to look at the camera at the same time??!! i'm not even asking for smiles, just both looking at the camera!
today they had cute church outfits so i took about 50 pictures and these are the best of the best.
the last one is kind of cute though; don't they look like they're modeling? hehe

aurora sang this song in our ward talent show. i stood next to her, but hid behind the curtain up on stage and she sang it all by herself! i could not believe that she actually went through with it. and of course we forgot to take our video camera. luckily i had video taped her at home earlier in the week b/c i wanted to send the video to nana on her birthday (same day as aurora's bday-today!!)

aurora is still sick so we are keeping our fingers crossed that she will feel well enough to have her special bday dinner at chic-fil-a tonight. we'll have to see b/c for the past 3 days basically all she has eaten are popsicles.

Of course he doesn't like any of them. Brian got accepted to BYU-Idaho Summer/Fall Block. So he was go to school, come home and go back. It is the pits!
